Access to Information
The Right to Information framework provides a mechanism through which members of the public may request access to information held by public institutions.
The Ministry is committed to facilitating appropriate access to information relating to its mandate, functions, programmes, activities and administration, subject to the requirements and exemptions established by law.

Requests may relate to information and records held by the Ministry in connection with its statutory, policy, administrative and operational responsibilities.
Request Process
Providing clear and sufficient details about the information required will assist the Ministry in identifying and processing the relevant records.
Clearly describe the information or official record you are requesting from the Ministry.
Submit the request through the Ministry’s designated Right to Information channel or RTI Officer.
The Ministry will assess and process the request in accordance with the requirements of the Right to Information Act, 2019 (Act 989).
The applicant will be informed of the outcome of the request and any further action that may be required.
