General Administration Directorate
Provides the administrative services, facilities and internal support systems required for the effective operation of the Ministry.
The General Administration Directorate ensures that approved personnel and administrative policies are translated into effective management practices.
It also ensures that the services and facilities required to support the Ministry’s administrative and operational functions are available and that appropriate internal control systems are maintained.
Key Units
Personnel Unit
Manages staff records and administrative matters relating to recruitment, leave, promotion, salaries, postings, performance appraisal and pensions.
Records Management Unit
Ensures that official documents and information are properly stored, protected and made accessible when required.
Protocol Unit
Coordinates protocol services and provides the framework required for the effective handling of official protocol responsibilities.
Estates and Security Unit
Provides advice on estate management, coordinates repairs and maintenance of Ministry facilities and equipment, and supports the safety and security of staff and property.
Transport Unit
Manages and provides transport services required for the Ministry’s operations.
