Two (2) MESTI Staff Awarded for Dedication to Service
Two staff of MESTI, Mr. Tei Ogum, and Mr. Mohammed Okine have received awards for their outstanding performance in 2019.
Mr. Ogum, Assistant Director1 with Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PPME) Directorate was recognized for his “High Level of Integrity” while Mr. Mohammed Okine, Senior Records Officer with the Chief Director’s Office was awarded for his “Commitment and Dedication to duty”.
The 2020 Civil Service Week and Awards Night was observed from Thursday, 17th – 25th September 2020 under the theme “Civil Service and Private Sector Synergy – A National Development Imperative”. The Awards recognized employees of the Civil Service for their dedicated and selfless contribution to national development.
The celebration sought to provide a platform for engagements to identify potential areas of collaboration between the Civil Service and the Private Sector in driving the socio-economic development of Ghana. The occasion also allowed the public to appreciate the contributions of the Service to national development.
In all, 94 (Nighty-Four) workers of some Ministries and Departments including Chief Directors, Directors, Professional ( Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors & Analogous), Sub-Professionals received the awards in various categories including Commitment & Dedication to duty, Creativity & Innovation, Outstanding Leadership, High Level of Integrity, Commitment to Service and Excellence Customer Service.
