Join the u’GOOD Research Program: Call for Applications Across 12 Countries
Call for Applications
The NRF invites you to participate in the u’GOOD research program, aimed at addressing the challenges faced by young people in urban and peri-urban environments. This initiative, in collaboration with Fondation Botnar (Switzerland) and the Human Science Research Council (HSRC) (South Africa), seeks to explore relational wellbeing and its impact on young people. The call for expressions of interest is now open, offering funding to researchers focusing on various aspects of young people and relational wellbeing in the Global South.
Program Focus
Proposals should concentrate on young people and relational wellbeing, covering thematic areas such as young people and livelihoods, mental health, digitalization, and climate change. Additionally, projects may explore the conceptual basis of relational wellbeing.
Eligibility Criteria
Principal investigators must hold a PhD and be affiliated with a research institution. Project teams must be based in one of the 12 focus countries or demonstrate significant engagement with these countries.
