MESTI launches Plastic Waste Management Campaign

Mesti in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGRD) through the Kwahu East District Assembly (KEDA) and the Kwahu South Municipal Assembly (KSMA), launches “Plastic Waste Management Campaign” at the forecourt of the Abetifi Chief’s Palace. The theme for the campaign is “Plastic is a Resource not a Waste”. The chairman for the occasion is Abetifihene/ Kwahu Adontehene, Akyemfuor Asiedu Agyeman III. The key note speech was delivered by the Hon Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie. Also in attendance were the Chief Director of the Ministry, Madam Cynthia Asare Bediako, other officers of the Ministry and some selected schools in the Municipality.
