MEST Staff Participate in Breast Screening Exercise and Health Education Session
On 16th October 2025, staff of the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology (MEST) participated in a Breast Screening Exercise and Health Education Session organized by Easy Health Wase, a private health institution. The exercise was part of ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and preventive care among staff members.
The session focused on educating participants about breast health, the importance of early detection, and preventive measures against breast-related ailments. Staff were guided on proper breast self-examination techniques, informed about common risk factors, and encouraged to seek timely medical consultations when necessary.
Participants actively engaged in the discussions, asked questions, and shared experiences, demonstrating a strong interest in understanding and adopting healthy practices. The exercise also provided an opportunity to emphasize the role of regular medical check-ups in maintaining overall wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
Through the initiative, MEST underscored its commitment to the health and well-being of its workforce. By fostering a culture of proactive healthcare, the Ministry continues to encourage staff to take personal responsibility for their health while contributing to a more productive and resilient working environment.
