FARA Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to MEST Chief Director

On 15th October 2025, a delegation from the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Director of the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology (MEST), Ms. Suweibatu Adam. The visit provided an opportunity for FARA to brief the Chief Director on the progress of activities undertaken on the land allocated to the organization by the Government within the CSIR premises.

During the meeting, FARA presented the status of ongoing work, highlighted key achievements, and outlined the proposed next steps for the development of the site. The Chief Director expressed her appreciation for the efforts of FARA and emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote agricultural research and sustainable development in the country.

The engagement reinforced the collaboration between MEST and FARA, aimed at advancing research, innovation, and development in Ghana’s agricultural sector.
