New Turkish Ambassador, H.E. Huseyin Gungor, Called on MESTI Minister

Accra, June 18, 2024 – This afternoon, the Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford (MP), Minister of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI), was pleased to receive H.E. Huseyin Gungor, the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, at the ministry.

During the meeting, Ambassador Gungor familiarized himself with the activities of MESTI and explored potential avenues for cooperation across various fields such as higher education, energy, health, construction, trade, among others.

The discussions underscored mutual interests in enhancing bilateral relations between Turkey and Ghana, particularly in leveraging science, technology, and innovation for sustainable development.
