Meeting with Hon. Minister of MESTI on Land Encroachment and National Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy
The Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI) convened an urgent meeting today, July 3, 2024, to address critical issues affecting Ghana’s scientific and technological development. Organized by the STI Directorate from MESTI, the meeting was chaired by the Hon. Minister of MESTI, Ophelia Mensah Hayford (MP), and featured significant contributions from the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Land Encroachment Briefing by Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute: The GSSTI presented a detailed brief to the Hon. Minister on the ongoing encroachment of their land. The proposed policy updates were submitted for the acceptance and approval of the Hon. Minister.
