Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford (MP) Opens Meeting with International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) Officials
On May 15, 2024, the President’s Representative at the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI), Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford (MP), officially opened a meeting with officials from the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG). This meeting was held ahead of the FIG conference scheduled to take place in Accra on Sunday, April 20, 2024.
The primary focus of the discussion was on innovative solutions for tackling plastic pollution in water bodies, as developed by the Federation. This crucial dialogue aimed to explore and implement effective strategies to address the growing concern of plastic waste in our water ecosystems.
